The Toxic Plant Garden in the middle of campus has more than a hundred species. These include agave, aloe, tobacco, St. John's wort, marigolds, and macadamia nuts.

Basseterre is the capital of the island nation comprising St. Kitts and Nevis. The centerpiece of the city is the Circus, a roundabout modeled after Piccadilly in London.
