Q: What kinds of jobs can be posted on the AVMA Veterinary Career Center?
A: Any jobs related to veterinary medicine can be posted. These include positions in clinical practice, industry, government, academia, and veterinary organizations, as well as positions for veterinary clinical staff such as veterinary technicians, hospital managers and receptionists.
Q: How do I post a job?
A: Go to "Post A Job" and fill out the information. You will be prompted for your data and online payment information.
Q: How much does it cost to post a job on the AVMA Veterinary Career Center?
A: If you are a member, the fees are:

$184 for a 60-day posting

Q: Can it be renewed?
A: Yes, the job may be renewed for 30, 60 or 90 days at the rates listed above.
Q: What if I have more than one job to post?
A: You may post more than one job at any time. Your registration information and inactive job listings will remain in your account information so you do not need to re-register every time you utilize the Veterinary Career Center. For employers who will post several positions in a year, a special package is offered for 12 job postings annually. For members, the fee for this package is $690 and for non-members the fee is $1,260.
Q: Can my job posting be made confidentially?
A: Certainly. You may list the job details and withhold your name and your clinic name, if you wish. E-mail correspondence would then be to a "blind" e-mail address, if desired.
Q: What if I have more questions about the AVMA Veterinary Career Center?

Q: Can my organization's logo be included with my job posting?
A: Yes. You must include your organization's home page Web address in your job advertisement to have your logo appear.
Q: Is there any limit to the number of words in the job posting?
A: No, you may write any amount of words per posting.
